Clear pavements and paths to crossings wide enough that traffic is impeded no more than unavoidable, and a path to the road and to the property entrance at least 1.25 m wide. In icy conditions grit pavements to their full width and depth, and paths to the road and to crossings 1.50 m wide.
Grit mainly with sand, chippings and similar abrasive material; ash only in amounts that do not make pavements and crossings excessively dirty. Salt is banned as a rule in drinking water protection zone II.
Where there is a pavement on one side only, frontagers on the pavement side are responsible in even-numbered years, those on the opposite side in odd-numbered years.
