Honest questions. Honest answers.

What does cleaning cost?

The cost depends on the type and scope of the cleaning and on the region. The cleaning calculator gives you a first estimate. The company tells you the exact price when you send a request.

Do you still have capacity?

Just send a request.

How does billing work?

The company that does the work sends you the invoice. The portal does not invoice you and costs you nothing.

Who is liable in Heidelberg if nobody clears the snow?

You are. Even on holiday. Especially on holiday.

What are the snow clearing times in Heidelberg?

Cleared and gritted by 7 am on weekdays, by 8 am on Sundays and public holidays. If snow falls or ice forms later, clear and grit without delay and repeatedly if needed, until 9 pm.

Cleared and gritted by 7 am on weekdays, by 8 am on Sundays and public holidays. If snow falls or ice forms later, clear and grit without delay and repeatedly if needed, until 9 pm.

Clear and grit the pavement at least 1.50 m wide. Clear an access to the road at least 1.50 m wide for each property, and on corner plots one to each street.

Grit with sand or chippings only. Salt only in freezing rain, hoar frost and refreezing ice, at most 20 g per m² and never into the root area of trees or shrubs; on steps, ramps and slopes a mix with at most one third salt.

In streets without a pavement, frontagers with odd house numbers clear and grit in odd calendar years, those with even numbers in even years, each a 1.50 m strip at the road edge on their side; not in the Old Town pedestrian zone.
