Weekdays 7 am to 8 pm, Sundays and public holidays 8 am to 8 pm, as often as necessary.
Clear pavements at least 1.20 m wide where local conditions allow, and grit them when slippery. At bus stops, clear and grit so that people can get on and off safely.
De-icing salt and chemicals are banned, except on steps, bridges and at bus stops, or where ice cannot reasonably be removed any other way. Salt, salted snow and brine must not reach tree roots.
Where only one side of the street has a pavement, frontagers on that side are responsible in even-numbered years and those opposite in odd-numbered years. Fines up to €500 per offence.
