Clear snow and ice arising between 7:30 am on weekdays or 8:30 am on Sundays and public holidays, and 8 pm, without delay and as often as necessary; snow falling after that must be cleared by 7:30 am the next weekday, or by 8:30 am on Sundays and public holidays.

Keep the pavement and cycle path clear of snow and ice to at least 1.50 m width; on pavements up to 1.50 m wide, remove snow and ice from the traffic space entirely if necessary.

Salt and other de-icing agents on pavements and cycle paths are generally banned, allowed only in freezing rain or at danger spots such as steps, ramps, bridges, approaches and slopes; sand or similar abrasive material should be used instead.
