Keep a walking strip of about 1.50 m clear, the full pavement width at bus and tram stops. Where there is no pavement, a 1.50 m strip along the properties counts as pavement.
Grit with abrasive materials (e.g. ash, sand, chippings). Rock salt, denatured salt and other de-icers are banned; breaches: fine of up to €500.
Owners keep the duty to clear and grit even in pedestrian zones and where the city cleans the pavements. In the streets listed in Annex 1 it also covers the half of the carriageway in front of the property.
