Honest questions. Honest answers.

What does cleaning cost?

The cost depends on the type and scope of the cleaning and on the region. The cleaning calculator gives you a first estimate. The company tells you the exact price when you send a request.

Do you still have capacity?

Just send a request.

How does billing work?

The company that does the work sends you the invoice. The portal does not invoice you and costs you nothing.

You are. Even on holiday. Especially on holiday.

What are the snow clearing times in Koblenz?

Weekdays (Monday to Saturday) 7 am to 8:30 pm, Sundays and public holidays 9 am to 8:30 pm: clear snow and ice from pavements without delay and grit away icy patches.

Snow clearing duty

Koblenz

Weekdays (Monday to Saturday) 7 am to 8:30 pm, Sundays and public holidays 9 am to 8:30 pm: clear snow and ice from pavements without delay and grit away icy patches.

Clear and grit pavements to a width of 1.50 m, even where the municipal service company cleans them. Where there is no pavement, a 1.50 m strip along the property boundary counts as pavement.

Grit with sand, ash or other abrasive material. Use salt only against ice, in small amounts and as a rule not under tree canopies; remove residue without delay once thawed.

Owners' winter duty also covers pedestrian crossings (except across carriageways in streets of traffic classes B and C) and the carriageways of the side streets listed in the street register. Breaches: fine of up to €500.

The town's bylaw is authoritative: Street cleaning bylaw of 18 December 2000, last amended 16 December 2025

Lahnstein

Remove snow and ice arising between 7 am and 8 pm without delay, gritting several times a day if needed. Snow or ice after 8 pm must be removed by 7 am on weekdays and by 9 am on Sundays and public holidays the following day.

Keep pavements clear of snow to a width of 1.5 m; where there is no pavement, a 1.5 m strip along the property boundary counts as pavement. Do not move snow and ice from properties onto the pavement or carriageway.

Grit with abrasive materials (ash, sand, sawdust, granules). Use salt only in small amounts on compacted ice and snow residue, otherwise only in cases such as freezing rain and at particularly dangerous spots such as steps or ramps, never on tree pits or planted areas.

The duty applies to the streets listed in the street register annexed to the bylaw; for the streets marked there, only to the pavements. Breaches: fine of up to €500.

The town's bylaw is authoritative: Bylaw on the cleaning of public streets of 19 November 2025
