Honest questions. Honest answers.

What does cleaning cost?

The cost depends on the type and scope of the cleaning and on the region. The cleaning calculator gives you a first estimate. The company tells you the exact price when you send a request.

Do you still have capacity?

Just send a request.

How does billing work?

The company that does the work sends you the invoice. The portal does not invoice you and costs you nothing.

Who is liable in Borken if nobody clears the snow?

You are. Even on holiday. Especially on holiday.

What are the snow clearing times in Borken?

Snow and ice arising between 7 am and 8 pm (Sundays and public holidays 9 am to 8 pm) must be removed immediately after the snowfall ends. Snow falling after 8 pm must be removed the next day by 7 am on weekdays, by 9 am on Sundays and public holidays.

Borken

Snow and ice arising between 7 am and 8 pm (Sundays and public holidays 9 am to 8 pm) must be removed immediately after the snowfall ends. Snow falling after 8 pm must be removed the next day by 7 am on weekdays, by 9 am on Sundays and public holidays.

Keep pavements clear of snow over a width of 1.50 m and grit them when there is ice or packed snow; in traffic-calmed areas and pedestrian zones a 1.50 m strip from the walkable edge of the street counts as pavement. At bus and school bus stops, clear and grit so that people can get on and off safely.

Do not put salt or other de-icers on tree pits and planted areas, and do not pile snow containing salt on them. Do not move snow and ice from private property onto the street.

The street register sets out which pavements and carriageways owners are responsible for. Where winter maintenance of the carriageway has been transferred, grit pedestrian crossings, crossing aids and crossing points up to the middle of the road, using abrasive grit in preference to de-icers.

Bocholt

Between 7:30 am and 7 pm, keep pavements free of snow, slush and ice or make them safe to walk on with abrasive grit.

Clear a width of at least 1 m, narrower pavements across their full width; where there is no pavement, a 1 m strip along the property boundary counts as pavement. At bus and school bus stops, clear and grit so that people can get to and from the stop as safely as possible.

Grit must not cause unreasonable damage to pedestrians' footwear or the road surface. Pile snow at the edge between pavement and road, but not at bus stops or hydrants.

On the streets listed in the street register, frontagers clear and grit the pavements; in street group 5 also the carriageway up to the middle.
