Keep pavements clear of snow and ice and grit them in icy conditions on weekdays from 7 am to 8 pm, on Sundays and public holidays from 8:30 am to 8 pm.
Keep pavements narrower than 1 m fully clear, the others at least 1 m wide; in pedestrian zones inside the ramparts, a strip at least 1.50 m wide.
Salt and other de-icing agents are banned on pavements in principle; allowed only on ramps, steps, steep slopes or inclines and in special weather-related exceptions.
Applies to the pavements of streets marked accordingly in the street register. Breaches can be punished with a fine of up to €5,000.

Pavements narrower than 1.00 m fully, otherwise at least 1.00 m wide; shared cycle and footpaths at least 1.50 m. Where there is no pavement, a strip at least 1.00 m wide next to the carriageway, in years ending in an even number on the side with even plot numbers, otherwise on the side with odd numbers.
Grit with abrasive materials; harmful chemicals are banned. Road salt only in exceptional cases where other means are not enough, at dangerous spots such as steps and ramps; never on tree pits and planted areas.
