Weekdays 7 am to 8 pm, Sundays and public holidays 9 am to 8 pm; clear without delay when snow falls, except during prolonged heavy snowfall.
Clear pavements and crossings 1.50 m wide where local conditions allow, plus a 1.50 m wide path from each property to the road and to the entrance. Grit these areas without delay when slippery.
Grit with sand, chippings or similar material; no ash. Salt only in small amounts at particular danger spots such as steps or steep pavements, and against compacted ice and snow, if it contains no sulphur compounds or other harmful substances.
Where only one side of the street has a pavement, frontagers on that side are responsible in odd-numbered years and those opposite in even-numbered years. Fines from €5 to €1,000.
