Grit only with sand, chippings or other suitable environmentally compatible materials. De-icing agents are banned, exceptionally allowed on steep sections and steps where the risk of black ice could otherwise be removed only with disproportionate effort.

Clear the pavement at least 1.5 m wide as a rule; provide an access to the road at least 1 m wide for each property.
Grit only with sand or grit chippings. De-icing agents are banned in principle, exceptionally allowed in freezing rain or icy conditions, kept as low as possible.
