Clear and grit by 7 am on weekdays and by 8 am on Sundays and public holidays. If snow or ice makes surfaces slippery later, act without delay and repeat as needed, until 8 pm.
Clear and grit, as a rule, at least three quarters of the pavement width, plus an access to the road at least 1 m wide for each property. Where neither side of the street has a pavement, and in pedestrian areas, a 1.50 m strip along the edge applies.
Grit with sand, chippings or ash. De-icing agents are banned, allowed exceptionally in freezing rain, then kept to a minimum.
Where there is a pavement on one side only, only the residents on that side are responsible.
